so that's why I am asking where you are seeing 'many many people" because I am just not seeing that myself. indicates that very few people are successfully running LPX under Yosemite without performance problems. Just a quick scan across the various forums. and all of which have no such issues running LPX under Mavericks.

to a maxed out 2013 i7 MBP to a top of the line 2014 Mac Pro and all have demonstrated issues regarding performance and stability with LPX and 10.10.x using a variety of different Audio/Midi interfaces, all of which have supposedly 10.10 compatible drivers. 7 different Macs ranging from 2010 Mac Mini i7 Servers to 2011 32GB 3.4Ghz iMacs. I personally, have on test here at the studios. over 80% have had to revert back to a previous configuration because of performance and/or stability related issues. and of those that have attempted to use Logic Pro X and Yosemite together. I have a quite large client list of Logic users from all over the world. Where are you getting that idea from because it simply isn't so.
